Duffield, Derbyshire
is situated 5 miles north of the County town of Derby, on the A6 trunk road, which leads north to the Peak district national park. Duffield was mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086 and Duffield Hall is believed to have been built in the early 1620's and is still in use today.
